 y = x^2 + 4x +3


----------------------------------------------

take half the coefficient of   x along
with the sign
and use that to complete the square

finally compare with (x-a)
² = C (y-b) to
extract the vertex (a ,b)
answer and  some steps are given below

implies y = (x+2)² +3 -2²
y = (x+2)² - 1
y + 1 = (x+2)²
vertex is ( -2 , -1)
